Please be sure to include your email address (if it isn't available in your profile), so that I can contact you if you win. You will be disqualified if I can't email you!
2. For two more entries, post about this giveaway on your blog and leave link to your blog post in the comments. You will also get an entry for each person who tells me that they learned about this giveaway from you.
3. For another 5 more entries: Become a Follower of my blog or subscribe to my blog through Google Reader or other subscription service. If you are already a subscriber or follower you still get the five extra entries! Please do not comment that you are a follower five times! I will give you the extra entries myself. I will delete any extra entries that you make as it will just confuse me when I go to pick the winners.

Apparently I need to expand my reading repertoire as I don't remember reading any Latino books recently either! My second favourite book so far this year is Clara Callan, set in 1930's Ontario.

I enjoyed Hija de la Fortuna by Isabel Allende. Her writing is really something special, even if I can't completely relate to the characters.

I can't think of a Latino book - one reason why I would love more exposure to them. My favorite book so far this year would probably be Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, which is set in Ethiopia.

I haven't read any Latino authors, although I do have several in Mt. TBR, including Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Octavio Paz. So one of my favorite books this year so far has been Life of Pi by Yann Martel.

How bad is it that I can't think of any Latino books (at least any I liked). I read the Cigar Roller for the Around the World in 80 Books club on the Oprah site, but I really disliked it. And I can't think of anything else. Man. Lack of sleep is really affecting my brain!

Ond of my favorite reads from this year is The Seamstress written by Frances de Pontes Peebles. The book is set in Brazil in the 1930's and is the most incredible debut novel. I highly recommend it.

The first Latino book that comes to mind as a recommendation is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (although I have to admit that I haven't read a lot of them).
