You received some great books! Giv looks like a wonderful, inspiring story. I adore animals, as I can see you do as well, but I don't read many books about them because I cannot handle reading oe hearing about animals being hurt, abused or injured in some way. I s'pose it's a little ridiculous but it it is what it is. I hope you review this book in your blog! Oscar Wilde is such a treat, enjoy!
Love your animal pics and your devotion to them!

Gautami, thogh Historical fiction is my favorite, I do have rather eclectic tastes as well.
Kaye, I think it looks cute too. Thanks!
Wisteria, it sounds really good to me as an historical fiction fan.
Amy, Giv does look good. Every once in awhile I run across a pet book that doesn't talk about abuse, etc. In the end, some simply die of old age, which is so sad as it is! I cry my heart out! I try to stay away from the sad and depressing pet related books.
I did run across one that was more of an inspirational book and the dog didn't die. The Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul is pretty tame. You would probably enjoy that.

Sheri, it is pretty scarry, isn't it. I was thinking about what it would be like walking by it at night. Yikes!
